Proton

The Proton is an optically-controlled analog envelope filter in the style of the legendary Mu-Tron III. Its unique Decay knob—rarely found on envelope filters—provides fine control over filter response speed, dramatically expanding expressive possibilities.

Controls for Gain, Peak (resonance), Decay, Sweep, and Tone work alongside Range and Sweep direction switches. The V4 circuit redesign brought a new detector based on the Chromatron, expanding the range from classic 1970s filter sounds well into modern territory. The reworked Tone control covers everything from cocked wah to laser beam sweeps.

The custom steel enclosure houses soft-touch relay true bypass that automatically engages bypass during power failure. Top-mounted jacks and 9-18V input make pedalboard integration seamless.
