The Andromeda recreates the Nordland ODR-C, itself an evolution of the 1992 Nobels ODR-1. Designed by Kai Tachibana as a budget alternative to the Tube Screamer, the ODR-1's unique topology uses bass-cut filtering rather than mid-humping, delivering transparent gain that preserves your amp's natural voice.

This adaptation captures the audio path of the modern ODR-C revision while making the circuit more approachable for DIY builders. The result is a pedal known for cutting through mixes without the nasal mid-spike of traditional Screamer-style pedals.
