Mini Bi-Comp
Dual compressor: Ross CompROSSor plus Orange Squeezer Juicer. Two independent sides, stackable.
Introduced in August 2001, the Bi-CompROSSor pairs two independent compressors in one enclosure: a modified Ross compressor (CA3080 OTA-based) and a Juicer (Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer clone with NOS Fairchild FETs). Either side works alone or both stack together, with the Juicer running first in the chain.
The CompROSSor side has Sustain and Attack knobs plus Volume. The Juicer side has an internal Bias trimpot and Volume. Optional Ryck treble toggle and Hi-Cut toggle add tonal shaping. Separate 3PDT footswitches with red and yellow LEDs.
Runs on 9-15V DC at about 10mA with true bypass. Compression range from 15-40dB. Players include Trey Anastasio, Sonny Landreth, and Jason Isbell.
