Albie

Big Ear Pedals was started by Grant Wilson, formerly of Brooklyn indie band The Click Clack Boom, and his partner Karen Schierhorn. Based in NYC, they design pedals with gnarly vintage character, minimalist graphics, and straightforward controls.

The Albie is Big Ears take on the classic Tube Screamer circuit—the green pedal that defined overdrive for generations. It delivers that familiar midrange hump and smooth clipping that has made TS-style pedals essential for blues, rock, and metal players.

With straightforward Drive, Tone, and Level controls, the Albie provides the TS sound without unnecessary bells and whistles. It excels at tightening up amp distortion, boosting solos, or providing its own creamy overdrive.
