Black Arts Toneworks (BAT) specializes in big, harmonically rich fuzzes and distortions built for doom, stoner, sludge, and heavy rock. Based in the USA, their pedals are designed to hit loud tube amps hard without losing low end or clarity.

The Pharaoh offers a wider range than typical fuzz—from cleanish boost to light overdrive to fully saturated fuzz. The hi/lo input switch works like a tube amp s input selector: lo for more headroom and less clipping, hi for more saturation.

The dual tone control is especially valuable for bass players: a standard tone knob plus high-end compensation lets you get huge fuzz with no low-end loss and no flubby tones. Guitar players appreciate the flexibility to replenish highs when boosting lows.

Runs on standard 9VDC and plays well at any volume, though it truly shines pushing a loud tube amp.
