Bad Bluff

BLAMMO! Electronics is run by Dan Adamson, an IPC-certified builder in Portland, Oregon. Before making pedals, he worked in medical, aviation, and defense PCB assemblies.

The Bad Bluff reimagines the Big Muff with a unique tone stack. The Mids and Tilt controls work in tandem—both flat at noon, they function independently for simple dialing of sounds not available from original Muffs.

Stock mode provides symmetrical clipping like Black Russian Muffs. Mod mode offers asymmetrical clipping for a more open, less saturated sound with different grimy overdrive shades. Sustain and Volume controls function as expected.

Relay-based true bypass soft switching, slimmed enclosure, and top-mounted jacks modernize the format.
