Fuzz Detonator
Wild old-school fuzz with feedback circuit for controlled chaos and spinning vortex sounds.
BLAMMO! Electronics is run by Dan Adamson, an IPC-certified builder in Portland, Oregon who previously worked in medical, aviation, and defense PCB assemblies. The Fuzz Detonator draws inspiration from vintage fuzz tones and Saturday morning cartoons.
Designed to sound good at any setting, the F.D. offers several shades of molten, old-school fuzz that plays nicely with most rigs. Roll back your guitar volume for less saturated, cleaner jangly tones. One half delivers thick, fuzzy riffs; the other half—engaged by the left footswitch and controlled by the Feedback knob—is like a wild, ill-tempered Tasmanian Devil whipping your signal into a spinning vortex.
Twisting your guitar controls antagonizes the feedback circuit dramatically. The pedal pairs beautifully with overdrives, distortions, and modulation effects. Use it before a wah for wild sweeping textures or after reverb for massive swelling sustain.
Requires 9V DC center-negative power (no battery option). Experimentation with placement unlocks new tonal possibilities.
