16-cabinet IR speaker emulator with convolution technology and sub-1ms latency.
The BluGuitar BluBox brings studio-quality speaker emulation to your pedalboard using convolution technology. Unlike analog filtering-based emulators, the BluBox uses impulse responses for more detailed and accurate cabinet simulations.
The BluBox offers 16 speaker cabinet selections including Marshall, Fender, Vox, Roland Jazz Chorus, and Mesa Boogie models, plus BluGuitar's own Nanocab and Fatcab voicings. A mic position control moves the virtual mic from center to edge of the speaker cone.
Connections include line in/out, speaker in/through, and a transformer-balanced XLR output. Latency is under 1ms for authentic playing feel. The unit accepts line or speaker level inputs but requires a separate dummy load for tube amps.
Essential for direct recording and going straight to PA while maintaining cabinet-mic tone.
