EQ-20 Advanced EQ
10-band graphic EQ with preset memory and parametric mid for surgical tone shaping. Floor unit.
The EQ-20 Advanced EQ packs a 10-band graphic equalizer into Boss's twin-pedal format with user presets and real-time control. Released in the early 2000s, it brought programmability to EQ in a way compact pedals couldn't.
Ten bands from 31Hz to 16kHz with dedicated sliders cover the full audio spectrum. Multiple user presets store complete EQ curves for instant recall. Two footswitches handle bypass and preset selection, enabling different EQ settings for different songs or sections.
Ten sliders plus Level, with preset storage. At 100mA in the twin-pedal format. The preset functionality is the key upgrade over the compact GE-7: store a rhythm EQ, a lead EQ, and a clean EQ and switch between them with a footswitch.
The twin-pedal format gives the EQ-20 enough room for ten physical sliders, which is a real advantage over menu-driven EQ pedals. For players who need multiple EQ settings readily accessible in a live setting.
