The HF-2 Hi Band Flanger applies flanging only to the upper frequencies of your signal, leaving the bass and lower midrange untouched. This frequency-selective approach prevents the bottom-end wooshiness that full-range flanging can produce.

By flanging only the high frequencies, the HF-2 adds shimmering movement to the treble range while keeping the fundamental guitar tone solid. The effect is subtler and more musical than full-range flanging, particularly on clean tones where it adds sparkle without instability.
