HM-2w Heavy Metal (Waza Craft)

When Boss announced the HM-2W in 2022, the Swedish death metal community lost its collective mind. The original HM-2 had become the most coveted Boss pedal on the vintage market, driving prices past $400, and here was a faithful reissue with a bonus mode.

Standard mode recreates the original 1983 HM-2 circuit: the same Color Mix EQ, the same aggressive clipping, the same chainsaw buzz when you crank everything to 10. Custom mode pushes even harder, adding more gain and tightening the low end for modern high-gain applications.

Distortion, Level, plus High and Low Color Mix knobs. The magic formula remains the same: all knobs at maximum for the classic Entombed/Dismember/Bloodbath chainsaw tone. But the HM-2W also works at lower settings for 80s metal crunch that the original was actually designed for.

Made in Japan with Waza Craft components. Runs on standard 9V DC (the original used the 12V ACA adapter), making it pedalboard-friendly without adapter hunting.
