The MT-2W takes the divisive Metal Zone and addresses its critics while keeping everything that made it sell a million units. Standard mode is the original MT-2 circuit, parametric EQ and all. Custom mode tightens the low end, smooths the high-frequency fizz, and adds more midrange presence.
Custom mode is the revelation. The MT-2's biggest complaint was always a harsh, fizzy top end and loose bass when pushed hard. The Waza Craft Custom mode fixes both while keeping the massive gain and the parametric mid EQ that makes the Metal Zone uniquely versatile among distortions.
