The XS-1 Pitch Shifter provides compact pitch shifting in the standard Boss format, offering basic fixed-interval pitch shifting and detuning capabilities.
Fixed-interval pitch shifting up to one octave in either direction. Detune mode provides subtle pitch offset for chorus-like thickening without traditional LFO modulation. The pitch shifting tracks monophonic input for clean single-note harmonies.
Shift, Fine, Balance, and parameter controls. The Fine control enables precise detuning in cents. The Balance knob mixes shifted and dry signals for parallel blending.
A straightforward pitch shifter for players who need basic harmonizing and detuning in a compact format without the additional features of the PS-6 or the polyphonic capability of the XS-100.
