Dumble Black Face

British Pedal Company spent over four years developing their Dumble pedals, voiced from original amplifiers. The Dumble Blackface captures the classic sounds of late 1980s and 1990s Dumble Overdrive Special amps.

The circuit uses a carefully selected OpAmp voiced for mid-focused, dynamic, and harmonically complex tones with characteristic bloom. The Dynamic control adjusts gain, bite, and touch sensitivity. A boost switch provides additional gain staging.

Controls include Gain, Dynamic, Tone, and Volume. Accepts 9-18V DC for variable headroom. Famous Dumble Blackface amp owners include Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, and John Mayer.
