Carbon X

Browne Amplification, based in Kansas City, collaborated with guitarist David Ryan Harris on the Carbon X. This dual overdrive combines two evolved Bluesbreaker-style circuits.

The left side is the Carbon V2 with 3-way hi-cut switch. The right side removes sheen and headroom for grittier, raw character with a touch of sag. Both sides are independently voiced versions of the legendary blue circuit.

As of 2025, the right side label reads LEVEL/DRIVE to clarify its higher-drive character versus the left. Recommended placement: last in your drive chain for optimal stacking.
