Wave Cannon

The Caroline Guitar Company Wave Cannon was Philippe Herndon's debut pedal when he launched Caroline in 2010. Based on a heavily modified ProCo Rat, it offered more gain range and tone shaping than the original.

The Wave Cannon provided angry, nasty distortion with an otherworldly amount of gain on tap. Its popularity led Caroline to build over 900 units before developing the refined MKII version.

This original version established Caroline's reputation for creative, characterful dirt pedals with a playful approach. It set the template for their future designs including the Havoc switch concept that would become a Caroline signature.
