Callisto MKII
Analog BBD chorus with added Feedback control for regenerative flanger-like textures.
The Catalinbread Callisto MKII adds one control to the original Callisto chorus that changes everything: Feedback. It routes the bucket-brigade chip's output back into its own input, creating regenerative flanging-style modulation that blurs the line between chorus and flanger.
Rate and Depth work as expected for analog BBD chorus. The Feedback knob is where the MKII earns its name. At low settings it subtly thickens the chorus effect. Push it higher and the regeneration creates metallic, through-zero flanging textures that a simple chorus can't touch. The entire range remains musical.
Same analog bucket-brigade technology as the original, same Jupiter's-moon namesake, but the Feedback control extends the Callisto from a chorus pedal into a modulation pedal that covers chorus, vibrato, and near-flanger territory in one enclosure.
