The CRUX is a specialized high-current add-on for the DC7, designed to power demanding devices like the Neural DSP Quad Cortex, Line 6 HX-series, or other multi-effects requiring substantial current. It delivers up to 2700mA at 9V or 2000mA at 12V from a single output.

Connecting to the DC7's 24V outlet, the CRUX provides 24W of output power with switchable 9/12V operation. This frees up multiple DC7 outlets that would otherwise be daisy-chained for high-current devices. Overload, short circuit, and overvoltage protection safeguard connected equipment.
