Citadel Electronics was founded in 2025 by Santiago Alvarez, Tommi Otsavaara, and Torsten Woelle, combining decades of experience from brands including Darkglass, Marshall, Neural DSP, and Two Notes. Their design philosophy emphasizes innovation and fresh features.

The Overtuber is a high-voltage overdrive designed to capture the authentic breakup characteristics of tube amplifiers being pushed into saturation. The circuit operates at elevated internal voltages to achieve greater headroom and dynamic response.
