Ethos Overdrive

Custom Tones' Ethos Overdrive, released in 2007, became the benchmark for D-style overdrive pedals. Designer Rob Hall spent 40+ years perfecting the circuit.

The Ethos Overdrive features two separate channels of D-style overdrive, each with independent 3-band plus Presence EQ. Both channels can be Clean or Overdrive, with separate footswitches. A Boost and cab sim output complete the comprehensive feature set.

The key to the Ethos tone is its transition from clean to overdriven using only articulation and guitar volume. Options include TLE (Tighter Low End), HRM post-EQ, and 30W power amp versions.
