DanDrive is a boutique pedal company based in Bremen, Germany, run by Daniel Querner. Each pedal is meticulously hand-wired using carefully sourced new and NOS components, with modern features like mains-power compatibility and top-mounted jacks.
The Austin Pride is a faithful recreation of the classic Fuzz Face circuit with intriguing alterations. Its biggest difference is using both 2 germanium AND 2 silicon transistors, switchable via mini toggles on either side - you can even mix them for unique tones.
Controls include Level, Fuzz, Bias (to dial in your preferred transistor operating point), and Clean-Up (lowers input signal to cut bass response for hotter pickups). The CV military-spec germanium transistors remain stable even in hot conditions. True bypass, runs on 9V battery or DC power.
