Real Cool Fuzz

Daredevil Pedals is a small-batch, handmade pedal company operating out of Chicago, IL. The Real Cool Fuzz channels the raw energy of The Stooges and Ron Asheton.

Based on the Mosrite Fuzzrite, the Real Cool Fuzz is heavily modified for Daredevil's vision of garage rock fuzz. The ear-piercing treble is rolled off while retaining the raunchy 60s transistor fight the original silicon versions were legendary for.

Ideal for trashy garage rock n roll, retro psych fuzz, and nasty dirt riffage. There's more depth to the tone, with cool subtle octave harmonic stuff around halfway through the Dirt control. Much time was spent sampling transistor pairings, as small changes make huge differences in this circuit. Controls: Power (volume), Dirt (gain). Hand-wired in Chicago, true bypass, takes battery or DC jack. Limited Ron Asheton edition available.
