Alpha Omega

Darkglass Electronics, founded in Finland in 2009, has become the premier name in modern bass distortion and preamps. Their products are used by countless metal and progressive bass players worldwide.

The Alpha Omega features two distinct distortion circuits in one pedal. The Alpha circuit is punchy and tight with lots of definition, while the Omega is simply brutal and raw. A Mod control lets you select or blend between them for maximum tonal flexibility.

The op-amp based design is more responsive to playing than previous Darkglass distortions. Controls include Blend (mix clean and processed), Level, and Drive. Bite boosts high mids at 2.8kHz for presence; Growl is a shelving bass boost for fatter tone. The pedal offers a larger tonal palette in distorted tones so you can find the sweet spot for your mix.
