Golden Horse

Decibelics is a one-man operation run by Guillem Vilademunt in Barcelona, Spain, creating meticulous clones of classic pedals using vintage and NOS components. Every pedal is hand-built to exacting standards.

The Golden Horse is the only Klone on the market A/B tested against a real gold Klon Centaur (serial #2505, 2001) before shipping. It uses the same component values as the original - same carbon/metal film resistor combination, Tantalum C16 capacitor, electrolytics above 1uF, and internal charge pump raising 9V to 18V.

Components include TI TL072 opamps, Bourns Pro Audio pots, NOS Panasonic ECQ capacitors, and 1N34A NOS germanium diodes. Buffered bypass like the original. The mini enclosure is 1/4th the size of the original Centaur. Requires quality isolated 9V power - never exceed 9V. Hand-made-to-order with Limited Lifetime Warranty.
