Demonic Machines, launched in 2019 from San Diego by a builder known as 'Lucky,' creates evolved versions of classic effects pedals. They describe the HTR as 'THE Smart-ass' Klon KTR Clone.'

The HTR is a transparent overdrive combining attitude, versatility, and affordability. It uses new-old-stock 1N3666 germanium diodes, giving this overdrive a unique character that pays homage to the original while offering more options than most clones.
