Nine Zero Two
Discrete transistor overdrive with tube-like harmonics and amp-style tone stack.
The Nine Zero Two (named after Nova Scotia's area code) uses multiple discrete transistor gain stages in series, each employing a different gain circuit. This creates complex, nonlinear amplification that approximates the lush harmonics of overdriven tube amps.
The amp-like tone stack completes a familiar overdrive package that ranges from light dirt to smooth saturation. Three knobs (Gain, Tone, Volume) keep operation simple while the multi-stage transistor topology provides harmonic richness.
Top-mounted jacks for tight pedalboard layouts. 9V battery or adapter power. True bypass. Compact enclosure hand-built in Halifax, Nova Scotia (now Montreal under SolidGoldFX).
