Dominion Electric Effects Co. is a Canadian boutique pedal maker based in Ottawa, known for meticulously hand-built vintage-style effects. The Faceless Fuzz builds on the Fuzz Face foundation with additional tweakability.
The circuit uses hand-picked NOS germanium and silicon transistors with internal controls for customization. The internal Fat/Tight dip switch adjusts the low-end response, while bias trimmers with test pads let you dial in the exact sag and character you want.
Premium components include Vishay film resistors, Sprague electrolytic capacitors, Wima film caps, high-quality multi-layer PCB for low noise floor, and Gorva soft-click footswitch. True bypass with top-mounted jacks. Like all treble-boosting fuzzes, it works best first in your signal chain before buffers.
