Blues Drive

Donner is a Chinese manufacturer producing affordable guitar pedals in compact mini-pedal format. The Blues Drive is their take on the Boss BD-2 Blues Driver circuit, known for its transparent, amp-like overdrive character.

The pedal offers two modes via toggle switch: Warm provides classic transparent overdrive while Hot delivers tighter, more aggressive drive with enhanced low-end. Controls include Level, Tone, and Gain for dialing in everything from subtle grit to pushed blues tones.

At 8mA current draw and mini-pedal size (95mm x 44mm x 48mm), it fits easily on any board. True bypass ensures your clean tone stays pristine. While not quite matching the original BD-2, it delivers impressive performance at a fraction of the cost.
