Dark Mouse

Donner is a Chinese manufacturer producing affordable pedals that often clone classic circuits. The Dark Mouse is their take on the ProCo RAT distortion, one of the most versatile dirt pedals ever made.

The Classic mode captures the original RAT warm, fuzzy distortion character while Hyper mode adds the extra gain and low-end punch of the Turbo RAT variant. Controls include Distortion, Filter (which sweeps from bright to dark), and Level.

At 10mA current draw in a mini-pedal format (42mm x 93.5mm x 52mm), it's extremely pedalboard-friendly. True bypass and aluminum-alloy construction provide reliability. Requires 9V DC power—no battery option in the mini format.
