Raindrops
Stereo hybrid delay with pitch shifting, modulation, reverb algorithms, and tap tempo.
Dreadbox is a Greek synthesizer manufacturer whose Raindrops delivers stereo delay with multiple algorithms in their signature Eurorack-friendly format. The hybrid circuit combines analog dry path with digital delay and reverb.
Delay times span 50ms to 1 second with tap tempo. Above 700ms, the repeats become lo-fi with added dirt. Three algorithms cover modulated delay, pitch-shifted delay, and lush reverb. Preset memory stores settings for each algorithm.
True stereo I/O with buffered bypass and 220mA current draw. Four dual-function knobs access eight parameters total. Dimensions are 14 x 10 x 5.6 cm with standard 9V center-negative power. Accepts up to 2Vpp input levels.
