Dusky Electronics is a boutique pedal maker known for MOSFET-based designs. The Mandorla is a colored boost inspired by 60s treble boosters with modern flexibility.

The MOSFET gain stage produces even-order harmonic distortion without clipping, similar to tweed-era tube amps - clean but richly colored. The Meat control functions as treble boost/bass cut left of noon and bass boost clockwise.
