Silencer

Electro-Harmonix designed the Silencer as a noise gate for pedalboard use. Cuts noise and hum between notes.

Threshold sets the level that opens the gate. Release controls how quickly it closes after you stop playing. Reduction sets how much attenuation when the gate is closed. Effects loop lets you put noisy pedals in the gate path.

True bypass. Eliminates hum and hiss from high-gain setups and noisy venues.
