Electro-Harmonix introduced the Small Clone in 1979. It became one of the most famous chorus pedals through Kurt Cobain's use in Nirvana.
Simple operation: Rate knob and Depth switch. The circuit creates a distinctive, slightly dark chorus character. The deep setting is more dramatic than most chorus pedals.
Cobain used it on Come as You Are and throughout Nevermind. The Small Clone's specific tone became the sound of early 90s alternative rock.
