Blue Monarch

The Blue Monarch is Fredric Effects' take on the 1990s Marshall Blues Breaker circuit, incorporating mods found in the cult AnalogMan King Of Tone and Prince Of Tone pedals. An internal dip switch activates a boost circuit that significantly increases the available gain, transforming it from a transparent low-gain drive into a full-bodied overdrive.

Handmade in north London by Tim Webster, the Blue Monarch covers everything from edge-of-breakup transparency to saturated blues-rock drive. The Blues Breaker lineage gives it a distinctly British character with a smooth, amp-like clipping response.
