Bass overdrive with dual boost stages and HTS circuit for tube-amp sustain without low-end loss
Purpose-built bass overdrive using Free The Tone's HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) circuit to deliver tube-amp-style sustain and breakup without the low-end thinning that plagues most guitar overdrives adapted for bass.
Two independent boost stages work in series: PRE BOOST controls signal level hitting the overdrive section, while POST BOOST adjusts output volume independently. A dedicated MIX control blends processed and dry signal for parallel-style overdrive. BASS and TREBLE EQ circuits sculpt frequency response around the drive. Seven total controls (LEVEL, MIX, BASS, TREBLE, GAIN, POST BOOST, PRE BOOST) in a mid-sized enclosure with custom brass knobs.
IC tone plate inside provides shielding and noise reduction. Requires isolated 9V DC supply—no daisy-chaining recommended.
