Overdriveland ODL-1
Dual-channel overdrive with no-clipping-diode circuit and internal 14.5V voltage boost
Two-channel analog overdrive built without clipping diodes or LEDs in the fundamental circuit—gain comes entirely from the circuit's own saturation characteristics rather than hard clipping. The Normal Channel covers clean to crunch, while the Drive Channel adds a dedicated drive stage in front of it.
Normal Channel features two toggle switches: EQ ON/GLASS selects between active tone shaping and a bright, Fender Vibroverb-style bypass of the tone circuit. ROCK/JAZZ switches the gain structure and frequency emphasis. Six knobs—NOR LEVEL, DRV LEVEL, TONE, GAIN, PUSH, HI CUT, and DRIVE—with independent level controls per channel.
Internal voltage boost lifts the supply from 9V to 14.5V DC for expanded headroom and altered clipping behavior. HTS buffer circuit at input and output. Draws 95mA, requiring a 200mA minimum power supply.
