Catastrophizer Distortion
Distortion with voice knob and dual switches. Massive low-end throb meets treble rip.
FTelettronica is an Italian one-man shop in Isola del Liri, founded in 2008. They build faithful clones of rare and discontinued effects, using Alpha pots, Neutrik/Lumberg jacks, and a 2-year warranty.
The Catastrophizer features two switches and a voice knob for shaping its distortion character. User reviews describe it producing both 'a wonderful rip' on high strings and 'a massive throb on the low strings.' True bypass, 248g in the compact 117x71mm format, adhesive-on-aluminum.
The voice control and dual switches give more tonal range than the compact size suggests.
