Bigsby Pedal
Polyphonic pitch shifter developed with Fender. Spring-loaded pedal replicates Bigsby tremolo arm feel.
The BIGSBY Pedal is a polyphonic pitch shifter created with Fender Musical Instruments Co., reproducing the string-bending and vibrato effects of mechanical Bigsby tremolo systems. A spring-loaded rocking foot-pedal provides physical dive and raise movements.
Unlike hardware Bigsbys limited to ~3 semitones, this goes up to 12 semitones in either direction. ADSP-21569 SHARC+ processor runs a hybrid algorithm preserving natural timbre of electric guitars, acoustics, baritones, bass, mandolin, and banjo.
AUTO mode enables LFO-controlled pitch with pedal controlling depth, syncable to external MIDI clock with 15 beat subdivisions. DETUNE emulates the imperfect dissonance of mechanical string-bending. Blend creates chorus and harmonizer sounds. Latching mode available via external footswitch.
Also functions as expression pedal for other gear. MIDI via 3.5mm type B. 500mA minimum, 9V DC center-negative.
