Motor Pedal
Electromechanical synth voice in pedal format. Spinning DC motor tracked by electromagnetic pickup.
The MOTOR Pedal is the world's first electromechanical synth engine in pedal format. A precision-controlled brushed DC motor with three rotating coils spins while an electromagnetic inductor captures the motion, similar to a guitar pickup sensing strings, but from pure rotational energy.
Five engine modes: MOTOR converts pitch to spinning motor hum; MxD blends motor with digital tracking; M-WAVE uses PWM and waveshaping from motor feedback; COIL uses electromagnetic interference without engaging the motor; Vocoder mode uses motor as carrier with instrument as modulator.
The expression pedal feels like a car accelerator, springing back when released, with floor-it mode for extreme effects. Seven-way switch sets pitch shift from one octave down to one octave up. Creative Accelerator, Brake, Clutch, and Drift dynamics available.
USB-C for MIDI and firmware. 500mA minimum, 9V DC center-negative.
