Plexi Box
Marshall amp sim from Bluesbreaker to JCM800. All-analog, six controls.
The Plexi Box targets the entire Marshall amplifier lineage, from the warm breakup of early Bluesbreaker-era amps through the aggressive crunch of the JCM800. All-analog circuitry maintains that dynamic, touch-sensitive response that solid-state amp sims often lose.
Six controls mirror the AC BOX and Hi Gain Box layout: Low, Mid, and High for three-band EQ, Volume and Drive for output and gain, plus a Voice knob that reshapes the overdrive character. This shared architecture across Gokko's Box series means players familiar with one can dial in the others quickly.
The larger enclosure (11.9 x 9.4 cm at 350g) gives the six pots breathing room. Like its siblings, the Plexi Box works as a standalone preamp when plugged into an effects return or power amp, making it useful for direct recording setups too.
