Ghetto
Tweed and Valco amp breakup in a box. Used by Jeff Tweedy. Volume, Tone, Gain controls.
The Ghetto Stomp was created to sound and feel like Tweed or old Valco natural amp breakup. Very responsive to the guitar's volume knob, it can make its way into fuzz and distortion territory while retaining the feel of natural tube amp breakup and sag.
Volume, Tone, and Gain controls keep it simple. Use it as a boost to push your amp into saturation, or add a touch of grit to your clean sound. It stacks beautifully with other drives.
Used in studio by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, and on tour with Rick Holmstrom (Mavis Staples) and Casey Meyer (Jim Quick and Coastline). The Ghetto Stomp's versatility extends from clean boost to gritty overdrive.
Hand-wired in Athens, Georgia. 9V battery or standard neg center 2.1mm power supply. True bypass with lifetime warranty to original owner.
