Little Samson

The Little Samson was built at the request of Andy Elliott of Elliott Guitars, who wanted a do-it-all drive with natural, higher gain that still stays full. It's the highest-gain cousin to the Lightspeed and Southland, delivering chunky drive with crunched-out distortion and singing lead tones.

Despite the high gain capability, it never gets buzzy or flubby. The high end stays smooth with proper treble, lows remain tight and amazingly balanced, and the midrange sits right where it needs to be. Volume, Gain, and Tone provide a huge range of drive and distortion territory.

The pedal captures the spirit of old Marshall Plexi amps in a clean, crisp package. Touch-sensitive with a front end structured like an amplifier input. Stays tight even at higher volumes.
