Special Request

The Special Request is a true tone enhancer built around a FET preamp. Based on the circuitry found in some of the world's most expensive amplifiers, it delivers a moderate boost with slight compression and selective midrange enhancement.

Internal voltage doubler pushes 9V to 18V internally, so only use 9V power. Single knob operation keeps it simple. Without being brighter or harsh, it exposes clarity and focus, with both single notes and chords becoming more articulate.

Set to unity gain to utilize its assertive tonal properties, or use higher settings to increase your tube amp's touch sensitivity. At higher settings it becomes more forceful, pushing amps further into saturation. Stacks exceptionally well with other drives for focused, dynamic high-gain sounds.

Enclosure measures 4.39" x 2.34" x 1.06". 9V only at 6mA. True bypass with lifetime warranty to original owner.
