The Hamstead Comet Interstellar Driver is a meticulously voiced overdrive that morphs from boutique character drive with vocal midrange to rich, creamy fuzz. Both transparent and colored tones accessed via a simple but powerful switch.

Selecting DRV>EQ or EQ>DRV changes not only the circuit order but also the clipping type and gain structure. Two-band EQ provides intuitive tone shaping.

All-analog design with Optical OptoKick footswitch for silent switching. Founded by Peter Hamstead, who worked on major aviation projects including Concorde. Made in UK.
