Horrothia Effects is a boutique builder based in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. Designed by Tom Oakes, each pedal emphasizes fit, finish, and ergonomics with CAD design.

Teeth is a low-gain preamp/overdrive using 9 transistors with no IC op-amps. It blends a transparent dry side with an edge-of-breakup wet side via the Saturation knob, which also acts as gain control. Full left is clean, full right is mostly overdrive with a hint of clean.

The Breath switch brightens the clean signal in the mid-highs for more cut. MK II X adds Output HPF, Gain Stage, and Soft/Hard clipping switch. All analog, no modeling, nothing digital.
