Echo Degrader Altered Edition
Lo-fi delay: tubby reverb to 10-second crushing distorted repeats. Infinite mode without runaway.
Industrialectric builds uncompromising noise machines in Toronto, Canada. The Echo Degrader is their take on delay, reimagined as a melodic lo-fi chaos engine.
Delay times stretch from short tubby reverb textures up to 10 seconds of crushing, distorted repeats. The Degrade knob degrades the signal progressively while Tape Stability adds pitch wobble and flutter. Infinite repeat mode sustains notes without runaway oscillation.
A momentary footswitch provides real-time control over degradation effects. The threshold/tone and repeat/blend knobs shape the character and mix. Hand-assembled on a professional PCB with reverse polarity protection.
At roughly 35mA current draw, it is pedalboard-friendly despite its extreme capabilities. For players who find normal delays too clean and predictable.
