Rattler+ (Legacy)

Jam Pedals developed the Rattler+ as an extended version of their RAT-based circuit. The added boost stage expands the range from edge-of-breakup grit to full-on saturated distortion.

The LM308 chip at the heart delivers that distinctive RAT voice: aggressive yet responsive, capable of cleaning up with guitar volume adjustments. The boost stage pushes things further for players who need more gain on tap than the standard Rattler provides.

Level, Filter (tone), and Distortion controls handle the core sound. The boost section adds gain staging options. This legacy model has been discontinued in favor of the mk4 versions, but the RAT DNA remains consistent across the Rattler line.
