Morning Glory V4

JHS refined the Morning Glory circuit through four generations, culminating in the V4 that debuted in 2017. Josh Scott doubled the available headroom compared to earlier versions, preventing the pedal from breaking up too early when used as a clean boost with hot pickups or high-output pedals upstream.

The gain toggle activates a new boost mode with more low-end content and higher gain ceiling. The side-mounted bright-cut switch tames ice-pick highs on brighter rigs like single-coils through Fender amps. The tap switch input accepts the JHS Red Remote for mid-song gain switching without dancing across your board.

Volume, Drive, and Tone controls maintain the classic layout. The circuit preserves amp character while adding sustain and harmonic richness. The gold enclosure and diamond knob pattern distinguish V4 from the white V1 and earlier gold V2/V3 editions. Same transparent foundation, more headroom, smarter features.
