The Abyss is a bass overdrive that uses bi-amp technology with two discrete circuits. Your signal is split into two paths: one preserves your original dynamics and tone, while the other adds overdriven fullness and punch. When the signals reconnect, you get your original sound made more powerful and richer without losing low-end definition.
Controls include Dirty (distorted signal level), Clean (original signal volume), Treble (passive low-pass filter), Gain, and a Lo/Hi switch. The Lo setting delivers warm, tube-like boost ideal for rhythm, while Hi adds more saturation, sustain, and compression for powerful bass lines and soloing.
Designed for bass players who need to cut through a heavy mix while maintaining their fundamental tone, the Abyss delivers the punch of two amps in one pedal.
