The Soloist

The Soloist extracts the String Singer channel from King Tone's famous Duellist into a standalone pedal. This is the Tube Screamer side, but refined with King Tone's open circuit design for exceptional dynamic response.

Three top-end settings (Edge, Stock, Glass) switch between glassy tube sounds, warm classic drive, and full-on screaming overdrive. The Body control adds low end often lost in TS-style pedals, more versatile than a fixed EQ setting.

The KingTone setting introduces edgy vocal top end with chunky bass. The $100,000 setting provides asymmetrical fuzzy lead tones. Running at 18V really benefits this pedal. Hand-built by Jesse Davey, this lives up to the hype for TS-style overdrive.
